1. National Classifiers shall be:<br />

- Medical <strong>and</strong>/or health professionals. (for example:- medical doctors,<br />

physiotherapists, occupational therapists)<br />

- Sports specific <strong>and</strong>/or technical experts. (for example: sport scientists, coaches,<br />

former paratriathletes, physical educators);<br />

2. Complete the <strong>ITU</strong> National Classifier’s Course <strong>and</strong> exam successfully;<br />

3. Complete five (5) classifications at a national level within 1 year with mentoring by<br />

a Level 2 international classifier<br />

3. Assess at Minimum, twenty five (25) classifications under supervision of a<br />

Level 2 Classifier;<br />

4. Attend the Level 1 Course <strong>and</strong> complete the formal examination<br />

successfully.<br />
