Role<br />

This position will be involved in the:<br />

Support of sales activities across all sales channels.<br />

Involvement in sales process activities including, but not limited to, data gathering calls ,onsite<br />

or remote demonstrations, RFP/RFI preparation, proposal collaboration, POCs (proof of<br />

concept, and other activities.<br />

<strong>Pre</strong>sentation and positioning of <strong>Trintech</strong>, the product solutions, and value, in alignment with<br />

customer objectives..<br />

Work cross functionally with Product Management for product enhancements and releases<br />

and with the Professional Services organization in knowledge transfer of customer<br />

requirements.<br />

Responsibilities<br />

This position will require a person with strong Accounting/ Financial Systems qualifications and<br />

experience, (CPA or other Accounting/Finance accreditation or degrees a plus) along with good IS<br />

background; or an IS consultant with a strong understanding of accounting/ financial systems. From<br />

whichever background this person needs to be committed to develop their skills in both areas.<br />

<strong>Business</strong> operational & technical analysis of customer needs supporting sales efforts<br />

Manages time to support sales activities, as well as continuous learning in the areas of<br />

product knowledge and business issues related to industry verticals.<br />

Highly motivated to learn products and solutions in a timely manner.<br />

Follow internal sales processes and procedures personally and ensure that the sales<br />

representatives are completing necessary documentation as mandated by sales<br />

management.<br />

Participation in mandatory team meetings and training, and other administrative tasks.<br />

Setup and presentation of products & recommendations to customers in support of sales<br />

Setup of custom and standard product demonstrations<br />

Assist in customer RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and proposals to support timely completion by sales<br />

team.<br />

Assist in production environment & customer-related issues<br />

Other customer facing activities, such as, event presentations, conferences/tradeshows, and<br />

company spokesperson.<br />

Assist in internal training to sales team and other groups as necessary.<br />

Ability to travel up to 50%.<br />

Essential Knowledge and Abilities<br />

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related discipline, CPA preferred<br />

Minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in financial operations<br />

Deep knowledge of accounting principals including financial statements, balance sheets<br />

accounting software, SOX related issues, financial reporting, and auditing practices.


Knowledge of software & hardware systems, implementation processes and project planning<br />

related to application & enterprise software implementations<br />

Ability to effectively demonstrate product capabilities, features & functionalities using both<br />

financial and technical expertise<br />

Ability to work effectively within a coordinated sales team<br />

Ability to work directly with customer financial & technical experts to analyse<br />

systems/processes, identify problems and provide solutions<br />

Proven, effective presentation skills to a diverse audience.<br />

Ability to effectively communicate in verbal & written formats<br />

A history of successfully working in lengthy and complex sales cycles.<br />

Exceptional time management skills to allocate resources with proper, qualified sales<br />

opportunities.<br />
