That’s why Hilti supplies extremely effective dust removal systems for professional
use in interior work. These systems, known as DRS for short, protect not only the
users of power tools from the effects of exposure to dust, they also help prolong the
life of the tools.
Active Torque Control.
Safer that just a mechanical slip clutch.
Combined with a mechanical slip clutch, ATC offers maximum safety when drilling
with heavy combihammers. In the event of sudden, uncontrolled rotation of the power
tool about its own axis, for instance when the drill bit sticks, the gearing is decoupled
from the motor automatically in a fraction of a second. The power tool switches itself
off. ATC thus minimizes the risk of injury and offers unrestricted working comfort,
especially in critical situations such as when working overhead or from a scaffold.
