User health and safety
Construction professionals know that only a safe construction
site is a productive one. For this reason we offer our customers
appropriate solutions for added safety and productivity in all
phases of their construction projects. Our products and user
training also actively contribute to health protection and
accident prevention.
We continue to invest in new technologies aimed at protecting
the health and safety of the user. We also offer sensible alternative
methods that aid, for example, in reducing the negative
influences of vibration, dust or noise. To expand our leadership
position in this regard we have established competence
centers, among other activities, on topics such as dust and
vibration reduction and ergonomics.
• Our innovations to reduce dust and vibration both increase
user safety as well as the life expectancy of the tool. In terms
of dust reduction this means a better working environment,
fewer breaks, less clean-up time and longer tool usage. Together
this generates added productivity.
• We have launched numerous patented systems for our tools
that also allow users to work longer and with added safety on
renovation and demolition projects. The many outstanding
examples include Active Torque Control (ATC), whereby the
tool’s motor cuts out in a fraction of a second if the drill bit
becomes stuck, Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) and powerful
Dust Removal Systems (DRS) that directly, effectively help
remove dust from the working environment.
• Ergonomic solutions, such as our extension systems for screwfastening
and direct-fastening technology, accelerate operation.
Improved handling makes it easier on the user, enhancing
safety on the construction site.
Combined with comprehensive user health and safety consulting
services, these solutions help reduce stresses and burdens
on the construction site. This also represents additional support
for employers, allowing them to often exceed local user safety
