NATIONAL CHEERLEADERS ASSOCIATION AND NATIONAL DANCE ALLIANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE <br />

TELEVISED ON CBS SPORTS NETWORK <br />

New partnership brings NCA/NDA Championships into millions of homes. <br />

Garl<strong>and</strong>, Texas, February 2012 –National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) <strong>and</strong> National Dance Alliance <br />

(NDA) are proud to announce that two of their most celebrated Championships will be televised <br />

<strong>national</strong>ly on CBS Sports Network during the 2012 season. The championships will air at 12:00 Noon, ET <br />

on four consecutive Sundays, beginning with the NCA All Star Championship on April 15, 2012. <br />

The NCA All-­‐Star National Championship is the largest <strong>and</strong> most prestigious All Star-­‐specific competition <br />

in the country. More than 17,000 athletes from 33 states <strong>and</strong> 2 countries will compete in the 25th <br />

anniversary of the event in Dallas, Texas, February 25-­‐26, 2012. <br />

"We’re excited that NCA All-­‐Star Nationals is going to be featured on CBS Sports Network,” says Justin <br />

Carrier, Vice President of NCA. “Featuring our top athletes on the <strong>national</strong> network will help raise <br />

awareness of this All Star community.” <br />

The NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer & Dance Championship is the largest competition in the country for <br />

college cheer <strong>and</strong> <strong>dance</strong> teams. Over 220 teams will compete in the 31 st anniversary of the event in <br />

Daytona Beach, Florida, April 11-­‐15, 2012. <br />
