BENEFITS VERIFICATION
Your benefits may be verified by calling the Customer Service Helpline at 915-532-3778 or 1-877-532-3778
(if outside the calling area). Eligibility, benefits, deductibles, coinsurance, co-payments and a listing of network
providers may be obtained by calling this number.
Member benefits may also be verified by logging on to www.preferredadmin.net. Simply click on “Members”
and follow the web instructions to obtain the requested information. You will have the ability to set up a
unique password online to access provider information and verify your personal claims information.
NIGHT CLINICS
Night clinics are a safe alternative to emergency rooms for night time illnesses and injuries. You will receive fast,
friendly, quality care without the wait of a long ER visit. There are eight convenient locations that open at 6 p.m.
nightly, 7 days a week. No appointment is necessary.
ADDITIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES
SPECIALTY PHYSICIAN CARE:
You may select and visit a specialty physician in this directory without a referral or authorization from
Preferred Administrators or your PCP. If you should have any special health care needs, a Customer Service
Representative will help you select a provider to accommodate your specific needs.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE:
You can receive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services that include, but are not limited to, mental health
and substance abuse services from Preferred Administrators. For a list of services offered, contact Preferred
Administrators at 915-532-3778 or 1-877-532-3778 (if outside the calling area). Members must contact
Preferred Administrators to access these services by calling 915-532-3778 or 1-877-532-3778 (if outside
the calling area). Participating behavioral health care providers are listed in the back of this directory.
PHARMACY:
Preferred Administrators also includes a prescription drug benefit. Prescription drugs are covered by Preferred
Administrators through Optum Rx. You will be responsible for paying a co-payment for prescribed medications.
These co-payment amounts are listed on the front of your Health Insurance Identification Card and will vary
according to the type of medication you are prescribed. Please refer to your plan document for a description of
prescription coverage. In addition to utilizing University Medical Center of El Paso pharmacies, you can take
your prescriptions to any pharmacy participating in the network. Participating pharmacies are listed in the back
of this directory.
