Alpina 2in1 Premium White Varnish
Gloss and semi-gloss for interior and exterior
Alpina 2in1 Premium White Varnish combines excellent
product performance with the protection of health and environment.
Easy and secure application for a perfect result.
Material
Purpose and Characteristics:
Performance and Protection in
one product. High covering power,
integrated primer, fast-drying,
weatherproof, elastic, high gloss
and colour stability, low odour.
Special raw materials and recipes
allow an optimal application.
Resistant to common household
detergents. High quality for durable
surfaces. Highly stain-resistant and
easy to clean. Shock and scratch
resistance, diffusible.
Wet scrub resistance class 1
according to DIN EN 13 300:
Wash-resistant according to
DIN 53 778.
According to DIN EN 71-3 suitable
for children toys after dry coating.
Basis material:
Polyurethane-acrylic dispersion.
Density:
appr. 1.20 g/cm³.
Gloss level:
Gloss/Semi-gloss.
Shade:
White.
Safety advice:
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not inhale spray dust or spray
mist. Ensure adequate ventilation
during application and drying.
In case of contact with the eyes or
skin, rinse immediately with plenty
of water. Do not allow the product
to enter sewerage networks,
watercourses or ground soil.

Content:
Polyurethane/-acrylate resin,
titanium dioxide, organic and
inorganic pigments, mineral fillers,
water, glycols, ester alcohol,
additives, preservatives (Methylisothiazolinon/Benzisothiazolinon).

Storage:
Cool but frost-free. With original
seal the product can be stored for
12 months.
Disposal:
Give only completely empty drums
to recycling. Liquid material remnants
can be disposed of as waterbased
waste paint. Dried material
remnants can be disposed of as
hardened paints or as domestic
waste.
Pack sizes: 250 ml, 500 ml and 2 liter

Application:
Brush, roll or spray.
Stir well before application and dissolve
with 5 –15 % water for a prime
coat if needed. Use a high-quality
acrylic brush (mixture of natural and
synthetic bristles) for brush application.
Use a short-piled nylon roller
(4 – 6 mm pile height) for larger surfaces
and rework immediately with
a fine pored foam roll and an acryl
brush.
Suitable Substrates:
Primed, dimensionally stable wood.
Primed metal and rigid PVC. The substrate
must be clean, sound/stable,
dry, and free from all substances
that may prevent good adhesion.
The moisture content must not
exceed 15 % for deciduous trees
and 12 % for coniferous wood.
Guidelines for Spray Application:

Substrate preparation:
– Wooden parts
Sand the surface in fibre direction,
clean thoroughly, remove all exuding
wood extractives, e.g. wood resin/
rosin and resin galls. Cut sharp
edges.
– Iron, Steel
Derust and clean.
– Zinc, Unplasticized (Rigid) PVC
Wash with ammoniacal wetting agent
using sanding pad.
– Aluminium, Copper
Clean with nitro-thinner or phosphoric
acid solution using sanding pad.
– Existing Paint Coatings
Sand the surface of existing coats
sligthly and/or treat with alkali.
Remove unsound existing coatings.
Application temperature:
Min. +8° C for product, substrate
and ambient air.
Drying time:
At +20° C and 65 % relative humidity
dust-dry after 1– 2 hours and recoatable
after 10 –12 hours. Rainproof
after 24 hours. Lower temperatures
and higher humidity extend the
drying time.
Usage:
Appr. 100 –120 ml/m²/coating.
Consumption is only a reference
value and may vary, depending on
substrate requirements. The exact
rate of consumption is best established
by a trial coating.
Cleaning of tools:
Clean the implements immediately
after use with water.
