6. Attend and take minutes at service planning meetings, circulating these and following up<br />

any actions in-house and with external bodies.<br />

7. Send returns to CCLI and CALLAMUS for any orders of service requiring copyright<br />

permissions keeping a record of all copyright permissions sought/obtained.<br />

8. Liaise with the Accounts Department with regard to charges and apportionment of<br />

collections.<br />

9. Assisting the Head of <strong>Worship</strong> in the production of the <strong>Truro</strong> <strong>Cathedral</strong> lectionary.<br />

10. The post holder will regularly be required to work unsupervised when the Head of<br />

<strong>Worship</strong> is away from the <strong>Cathedral</strong> and there will be scope to grow autonomy with<br />

experience in the role.<br />

11. Flexible approach to working hours. There may be the odd occasion where attendance<br />

at an evening meeting/weekend is required (time off in lieu would be given).<br />

<strong>Cathedral</strong> Music<br />

1. Provide administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director of Music.<br />

2. Update chorister parent records annually on <strong>Cathedral</strong> database and liaise with chorister<br />

parents and Polwhele House School as instructed by the Director of Music.<br />

3. Printing and distribution of quarterly choir commitments list to all involved including<br />

chorister parents and clergy.<br />

4. General administrative assistance with <strong>Cathedral</strong> Choir tours (usually once every two years)<br />

as directed by the Director and Assistant Director of Music.<br />

5. Working with Assistant Director of Music, assist with bookings and coordination for<br />

visiting choirs.<br />

6. Working with the Director of Music, coordinate the administration of membership for the<br />

<strong>Truro</strong> <strong>Cathedral</strong> Old Choristers Association and organise the annual dinner.<br />

7. Assist with administration of membership of “<strong>Truro</strong> <strong>Cathedral</strong> Music”.<br />

8. Collate and print weekly <strong>Cathedral</strong> organ recital programmes.<br />

9. Working with the Head of <strong>Worship</strong> and Director of Music, create, edit, produce and<br />

distribute the Monthly Music and Service List.<br />

10. Email the Monthly Music and Service list to Telegraph for national publication.<br />

General Office<br />

1. To support the smooth running of the <strong>Cathedral</strong> office and in staff absence cover<br />

reception duties as and when necessary<br />

2. To attend and participate in training courses as required<br />

3. To take a positive and active part in the <strong>Cathedral</strong>’s annual appraisal/review system<br />

4. To adhere to HR Policy contained with the Staff Handbook<br />

5. To undertake any other reasonable tasks, relevant to the post<br />
