How The Gaffa Sees It…<br />
Last season was hard to take so the start of this season<br />
couldn’t come quickly enough for me. It was my first<br />
season in charge of the team and we really struggled but<br />
we had a great group of lads that have stuck together<br />
during the close season and we were ready to go again.<br />
The game against Axis was a great atmosphere but the result didn’t suit, they wanted it<br />
more and it didn’t make good watching. To lose to the newbies was not what we wanted,<br />
but it sent us back thinking that this season wont be easy no matter how strong we are.<br />
The game against Waverton was much more<br />
like it, we turned up to fight and we made<br />
short work of it with some great attacking<br />
play and Crogg barely had to touch the ball.<br />
We played great for a couple of weeks with<br />
only a blip against waverton the second time<br />
round. We finish the month in a good<br />
position in both the league and the Bill<br />
Gresty! Overall I think we look good!
