• The average price of diesel (excluding taxes) increased by 9.9% to $1.37 per litre in the June
quarter over the March quarter. The price of diesel declined to $1.31 per litre at the end of the
June quarter from $1.47 per litre at the start of the quarter.
• The average price of diesel (excluding taxes) decreased by 8.2% to $1.26 per litre in the
September quarter over the June quarter. The price of diesel declined to $1.25 per litre at the
end of the September quarter from $1.28 per litre at the start of the quarter.
