A Simple L A TEX Document
Richard Zach
November 6, 2013
1 Introduction
L A TEX was originally developed in 1985, based on the TEX typesetting system
released by Don Knuth in 1979 (Lamport 1986; Knuth 1986). You can
easily set formulas like ∃x(φ(x) ∧ ψ(x)), or greek text, e.g., when discussing
Aristotle’s ἄπειρον.
