Well, if you ask me, I would love to lead a big team of
talented people of all age groups. That’s where the
challenge lies. In such a team, I would have people older
than my age and younger to me as well. Some of the team
members could be much smarter than others and others
could be having some unique skills.
The crux is to channelize their energy and talent in the
desired direction and achieve what I want from them.
Thus, a leader is nothing without a team.
A leader must have followers with whom he can share his
vision and finally help realize the vision. Vision in terms
of leadership means, something you want to achieve in
the long run for society, organisation, or for yourself. For
example, Mr Obama wanted to give an equal status to the
coloured people in politics in the U.S.A or Mother Teresa
wanted to have a charitable organisation that would only
serve mankind by providing everything to a needy.
A leader’s motto should always be “Together we can
and together we will”.
Leader has to role-play as a delegator, mentor, motivator,
and much more in order to keep himself aligned with
this leadership motto. Thus, one is not considered to
be a leader if he does not have followers. Imagine, if
