Security Fence –<br />

Perimeter Wall is already existed Fencing shall consist of the types<br />

shown in drawings, The estimated perimeter wall distance is 400 meter,<br />

but the high is deferent in each location. For detail refer to table 1.001<br />

Payment Terms<br />

1. First installment (30% of the contract amount) will be paid to the<br />

contractor after verification and acceptance of 30%, actual work<br />

completed in the field.<br />

2. Second installment (30% of the contract amount) will be paid to the<br />

contractor after verification and acceptance of 60%, actual work<br />

completed in the field.<br />

3. Third installment (30% of the contract amount) will be paid to the<br />

contractor after verification and acceptance of 100%, actual work<br />

completed in the field.


4. 10 % as a liability period for 12 months will remain with <strong>UNDP</strong> for<br />

one year as a grantee.<br />

5. 10% of the total contract is performance security deposited in certified<br />

bank by <strong>UNDP</strong> prior signing of the contract.<br />

Details on any warranty/guarantee conditions: The contractor must warranty the construction work for 12 months<br />

after the completion of the project.<br />

REQUIREMENTS<br />

Technical Specifications, requirements and scope of the work:<br />

1) The contractor has to complete the project with best quality and according to the<br />

attached project plans and sketches under the observation of <strong>UNDP</strong> engineers. The<br />

upgrading and repairing work must be according to the norms, specifications and<br />

standard provided by <strong>UNDP</strong> Engineers. If the implemented work is not completed<br />

according standard norms and specifications, the work must be destroyed and redone<br />

by the contractor at no extra cost or wage.<br />

2) The contractor shall supply all labor (expert, skilled and unskilled), materials, tools,<br />

equipments, transportation, food, prepare accommodation, arrange security and<br />

safety plans and materials, and the works, and relevant documents as may be<br />

necessary for the full satisfactory completion of all specified works. Quality control<br />

system is an integral part of this contract and project implementation requirements,<br />

which will be direct responsibilities of the contractor to complete and fallow their<br />

work accordingly.<br />

3) The work site must be cleaned by contractor on a daily basis. The storage and<br />

security of all materials, supplies, tools, and equipments provided is the contractor’s<br />

responsibility. Upon completion of the works.<br />

4) Payment will be made on actual work done at the site according to the accepted<br />

rates. In the case of additional or extra works, the contractor has to take approval<br />

from <strong>UNDP</strong> Engineers; otherwise no payment will be made for additional or extra<br />

works.<br />

5) Contractor is to start the Work within 2 (two) working days after official permission<br />

The contractor is responsible to complete the Works within (4) weeks of the<br />

contract date, failing which the contactor shall be subject to paying 0.05 % of the<br />

total contract amount as penalty for each day the Works remains incomplete. This<br />

penalty may also be imposed, if the Contractor falls seriously behind work schedule<br />

because of any reason which is not acceptable for <strong>UNDP</strong>.


6) For more detail refer to Attached drawings Fencing work the contactor should used<br />

high qualities material as GI pipe, wire mesh and sniper screen. Wire ties rails, posts<br />

and braces shall be constructed on the secure side of the fence alignment. Chain –<br />

link fabric shall be placed on the opposite to secure area. Only 9 gage galvanized<br />

steel tie shall be used for fastening the fence fabric to fence post and rails 16 gage,<br />

long stainless steel double loop bar tie wires shall be used for fastening fence fabric<br />

to tension wire and truss rods. Hog rings shall not be allowed on censored fence.<br />

Bottom rail shall be attached to double rail ends using 3/8” carriage bolts as shown.<br />

Additional hole shall be drilled through bottom rail ends to insure the carriage bolts<br />

pass through the bottom rail as shown.<br />

7) The contractor should bring the sample of material, used in the building for the<br />

approval of the <strong>UNDP</strong> Engineers. Without the approval of <strong>UNDP</strong> engineers the<br />

contractor can not use any construction material.<br />

8) RCC (reinforce cement Concrete): The ratio of the PCC concert must be M: 200 (1,<br />

1.5, 3). Crash as per engineering norms should be used with clean sand, fresh<br />

cement and clean water. The mortar must be mix by the mixer with proper way.<br />

Vibrator must be used as per the instruction of site engineer. Curing should be at<br />

least for 15 regular days, three times a day.<br />

9) The removed loss soil from under construction building should be transport to<br />

outside of the building area where governmental authorities permit.<br />

10) The Removal debris materials and site cleaning before beginning of the project and<br />

after the completion of project should be done by contractor and the debris materials<br />

should be transport out of the project site.<br />

11) The estimation given in BoQ are approximately measured so payment will be made<br />

based on actual work done in the field by the contractor as per the given drawings<br />

and instruction of the site engineer.<br />

12) The contractor must follow the technical drawings and in the case of any changes,<br />

the contractor should take prior approval of the <strong>UNDP</strong> engineers.<br />

13) The contractor of this contract doesn’t have the right to give the project to subcontractor.<br />

14) The contractor must have site visit and based on the site visit to prepare the BoQ.<br />

<strong>UNDP</strong> will evaluate the <strong>RFQ</strong> based on the following


1. Valid AISA Licenses: The contractor must have valid AISA license<br />

2. Project List: The contractor should have completed in past at least two similar<br />

project (USD30,000) and must include the names ad contract detail(telephone<br />

numbers and email addresses) of the client;<br />

3. Staff List: This must include CV of one site engineer who will monitor the<br />

construction work on daily bases with three years experience.<br />

4. Complete BoQ: The contractor should quote for all items of the BoQ, partially<br />

BoQ will be rejected.<br />

Work Plan: This must include the sequence and duration of ALL activities proposed by<br />

the contractor to undertake the completion of the proposed construction works. The work<br />

plan should show that the contractor understand the works to be undertaken<br />
