(3) An emergency conservation order shall, for a period ofsix momhs from ilS publication in the Gazelle, have the same effect as the inclusion of the property to which il refers in the list ofscheduled properly, It shall cease to have any effecl on the expiration of the period aforesaid. (I) The Authority shall prepare, and from time to time revie",. ~ list of individual trees. groups of trees or woodlands (hereinafter referred to as "scheduled trees") which it considers should be protected. and may in respect ofall or anyone or more of them make tree preservation orders reguiating such protection. The Authority shall also notify anyone of the known owners of any scheduled tree of Ihe fact of its inclusion in the list and of any tree preservation order made with respect to it. (3) No scheuuled tree shall be cut down. lopped. topped or wilrully damaged or destroyed except with the penllission of the Authority on an application made to il or as may be allo~ed under a Iree preservation order.
