PACKINGS
Compression packing is often the most cost effective way to seal pump shafts
and valve stems. Our extensive ranges are constructed from yarns of natural
or man-made fibres, with special duty packings made from metal foils and
exfoliated graphite. Supagraf ® Premier and Supagraf ® Control are our high
performance stem sealing packings for valves controlling hazardous media.
GASKETS & JOINTINGS
James Walker manufactures and supplies complete ranges of metallic and
semi-metallic joints, gaskets and sheet jointings, including Metaflex ® spiral
wound gaskets, Moorside ® API ring joints, and jointings such as Sentinel ®
and Chieftain ® , plus other ePTFE, graphite, aramid, glass and carbon fibre
grades. In addition, we produce precision-cut flat gaskets to any shape, size
and quantity from any sheet material, including our own extensive ranges of
jointings.
HYDRAULIC SEALS
Our many designs of piston seals, rod seals, packings, wiper rings and bearing
strips, suit applications from miniature hydraulic actuators to the largest forging
presses.
ROTARY LIP SEALS
Walkersele ® rotary shaft lip seals retain lubricant and protect bearings against
environments. For ease of installation they can be split and joined on site.
Tunnel-boring machine seals are made to unlimited diameter.
BELLOWS AND EXPANSION JOINTS
Comflex ® bellows, connectors and expansion joints suit applications from dust
excluders for precision equipment made in lightweight PVC, to heavy duty
units for turbine exhausts and pulverising mills. Composite materials are also
supplied in sheet form for on-site replacement of ductwork joints.
MACHINE MOUNTING PADS
Tico ® mounting pads are scientifically designed for plant installation, low
frequency isolation or high impact buffers. Adjustamounts provide swift
adjustment for accurate levelling of machines.
