by UV-fluorescence<br />

Enviro-Flu-<strong>HC</strong> is a new generation of highsensitive submersible<br />

sensors for oil-<strong>in</strong>-water measurement. The used UV fluorescence<br />

pr<strong>in</strong>ciple for detection is much more sensitive than<br />

any other exist<strong>in</strong>g detection pr<strong>in</strong>ciple, like <strong>in</strong>frared scatter<strong>in</strong>g,<br />

etc. This allows the detection of <strong>PAH</strong> traces <strong>in</strong> water down<br />

to s<strong>in</strong>gle ppb levels, e.g. <strong>in</strong> dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>gwater or condensate applications.<br />

Typical applications are discharge monitor<strong>in</strong>g of<br />

airports and factories, leakage detection and many others.<br />

The sensors can be used either <strong>in</strong> stationary or portable applications.<br />

A new <strong>in</strong>novative coat<strong>in</strong>g on the lenses is prevent<strong>in</strong>g<br />

the optics for foul<strong>in</strong>g and oil-flims, mak<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>enviroFlu</strong>-<br />

<strong>HC</strong> longterm stable and virtually ma<strong>in</strong>tenance free.<br />
