Nick Bontis is an Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Strategy at the DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> Business at<br />

McMaster University. He received his PhD from the Ivey Business School at the University <strong>of</strong><br />

Western Ontario. His doctoral dissertation is recognized as one <strong>of</strong> the first to integrate the<br />

fields <strong>of</strong> intellectual capital, organizational learning <strong>and</strong> <strong>knowledge</strong> <strong>management</strong> <strong>and</strong> is the<br />

No. 1 selling thesis in Canada. He was recently recognized as the first McMaster pr<strong>of</strong>essor to<br />

win Outst<strong>and</strong>ing Teacher <strong>of</strong> the Year <strong>and</strong> Faculty Researcher <strong>of</strong> the Year simultaneously. He<br />

is a 3M National Teaching Fellow, an exclusive honor only bestowed on the top university<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essors in Canada. He is recognized the world over as a leading pr<strong>of</strong>essional speaker<br />

Khaled Sadeddin is an MBA student at McMaster University in Canada. He holds a BSc in<br />

Opto-electronics <strong>and</strong> LASER Systems Engineering from the University <strong>of</strong> Hull (UK), <strong>and</strong> a<br />

Master’s in Management (MM) from Lakehead University, Canada. His research interests<br />

include corporate strategy, <strong>knowledge</strong> <strong>management</strong>, <strong>and</strong> business process re-engineering.<br />

Lorne D. Booker is a PhD student majoring in Management Information Systems at the<br />

DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> Business at McMaster University. He has a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts in<br />

Philosophy, an Honors Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Commerce <strong>and</strong> a Master <strong>of</strong> Sciences in Management<br />

degree. His research interests include <strong>knowledge</strong> <strong>management</strong>, academic research<br />

relevance, technology adoption, e-commerce, <strong>and</strong> 3D immersive environments. His<br />

previous research has been published in Management Decision <strong>and</strong> Knowledge <strong>and</strong><br />

Process Management.<br />

Timothy Hardie is an Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Management <strong>and</strong> Organizational Theory in the<br />

Faculty <strong>of</strong> Business Administration at Lakehead University. He holds a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Education<br />

degree from the University <strong>of</strong> Toronto, an MBA in International Business from the University <strong>of</strong><br />

Victoria, <strong>and</strong> a DBA in Organization Management from Monash University, Australia. His<br />

research interests focus on services <strong>management</strong> <strong>and</strong> the <strong>management</strong> <strong>of</strong> education<br />

internationally.<br />
