Inter School Literary Competition
Promoting literary skills, developing the flair for literature,
being the primary objective, CLUB EUREKA:
Rediscover Yourself, A Quest for Literary
Brilliance, the Literary Club of the institute, organized
one of its mega ventures, ‘Inter School Literary
Competition-09’ on 30 th August 2009 in the institute
premises. A total number of 120 students from 17
different schools of in and around the city of Berhampur
participated in 11 different competitions held in both
English and Oriya. Faculty members of different
disciplines evaluated the performance of the contending students. The whole day event witnessed the literary
spark in young enthusiastic minds who came up with flying colors bagging many prizes at the end of the day. Dr.
Arun Kumar Padhy, Course Coordinator, B. Tech, Dr. E. Raja Rao, Professor, Dept. of Management Studies
distributed trophies to the winners and runners-up of each of the events in the valedictory function. The Literary
Day was successfully coordinated by Mr. Dipti Ranjan Lenka and Mr. Amrut Phalguni Mohanty, Faculty Advisors,
Club EUREKA, Mr. Jagannath Satpathy, President, Mr. Pratyush Mishra, Secretary and other active members
of the club.
