Tanning lamps

In terms of output and operating life, 

Original Hanau SunCare high pressure 

lamps are unsurpassed worldwide. Their 

constantly high production quality is 

ensured through extensive tests in Heraeus 

Noblelight’s certificated measurement lab. 

Complementing this, every single high 

pressure lamp is individually controlled, 

ignited and operated before it leaves the 

factory. 

NARVA low pressure tubes are also among 

the best on the market. The tanning tubes 

undergo the same quality control processes 

as the lamps. To this end, the Original 

Hanau SunCare quality scanner is integrated 

into the NARVA production line. We operate a 

modern glass works, which operates around 

the clock producing the special glass 

needed for the manufacture of fluorescent 

lamps. This makes us independent of outside 

suppliers. 

The two, quality-focused production facilities 

bring to the tanning market something 

which has never been seen before: tanning 

lamps and tubes from a single source, both 

of which meet the high quality requirements 

of the Original Hanau SunCare brand. 

Heraeus Noblelight, the technology and market leader 

in terms of high pressure lamps as well as optical 

components such as filters and reflectors, and NARVA 

light sources, one of the leading German tube specialists, 

have brought together their individual competences into 

one joint venture: HN Sunlight GmbH. 

The result of this union sets a new benchmark for tanning 

quality. For the first time, under the strong Original 

Hanau SunCare brand, lamps, tubes and components 

can be offered as optimally matched solutions – 

developed, produced and tested by the most experienced 

manufacturers in Germany.

SunCare: Blue:Q – a new generation of highpressure 

lamps. Blue:Q tanning lamps tan 

gently, giving great results while treating 

skin with care. The use of high-pressure 

lamps for tanning is a well-established, 

tried and tested technology. Blue:Q is able 

to achieve the best tanning results with a 

maximum irradiance of only 0.3 W/m 3 . Not 

only that, but Blue:Q is also a simple plug 

& play solution, allowing you to adjust older 

equipment to the new LVD limits: All you 

need to do is change the lamp. 

VARIUS is an all-in-one high-pressure 

tanning unit. Thanks to its very compact 

size and simple installation, the system 

can be flexibly integrated into almost 

any tanning bed concept, giving you the 

freedom to implement new designs and 

innovative tanning concepts. VARIUS 

systems for special foot, leg, hand, face, 

chest and shoulder tanners can be easily 

combined with classic tube arrays. VARIUS 

consists of five modules: a reflector made 

of a special glass with an optimised 

interference coating, a 250 watt tanning 

lamp, a filter panel, a pluggable electric 

connection and a mounting bracket.

Original Hanau SunCare starters have been 

specifically developed for tanning tubes. 

Electronic Starter

MagicFlash is suitable for all tubes from 25 to 180 Watt. The 

advantage: It slows down blackening in the electrode region and 

consequently, is ideal for MagicSun longmount tubes. Moreover 

MagicFlash starters also have a longer operating life than 

conventional starters. They do not need replacing at every tube 

change, so maintenance costs are reduced. The operating life 

guarantee is 3 000 hours, with 15 000 starts. No start flicker. No 

ignition delay. Instant start.

Good, reasonably priced. The conventional starters from Original 

Hanau SunCare work very reliable. They prevent switch-on flicker 

and reduce blackening in the electrode region. The conventional 

starters should be replaced at every tube change, at least at every 

second tube change. 

Anwendung von Original Hanau SunCare Bräunungsröhren nur unter Berücksichtigung des Gerätetyps sowie des individuellen Hauttyps. Alle angegebenen 

Werte wurden in Messungen, die unter praxisnahen Bedingungen im Labor durchgeführt wurden, ermittelt. Die Angaben für den Rückgang der UVA-Leistung 

und die garantierten Lebensdauerwerte beziehen sich bei Röhren jeweils auf den 20-Stunden-Wert sowie den Betrieb unter von HN Sunlight GmbH vorgegebenen 

Betriebsbedingungen bei einem Schaltrythmus von 25 Minuten An/5 Minuten Aus. Der Sonnenerythemfaktor wurde für eine einzelne Röhre im Abstand von 25 cm 

bestimmt. Betriebsweise gemäß technischem Datenblatt. Die UV-Garantie bezieht sich auf eine Lebensdauer von 700 Stunden mit einem max. Rückgang der 

UVA-Leistung von 20 % für MagicSun Lampen, für 600 Stunden mit einem max. Rückgang der UVA-Leistung von 30 % für NewColors Produkte und 500 Stunden 

mit einem max. Rückgang der UVA-Leistung von 30 % für Classics Bräunungslampen. Von der UV-Garantie ausgenommen sind durch Fehlgebrauch oder 

äußerliche Einwirkungen beschädigte Produkte. Die UV-Garantie setzt voraus, dass die Lampe in dem dafür bestimmten Gerät, für das sie entwickelt wurde, und 

dem Einsatzgebiet betrieben wurde. HN Sunlight behält sich vor, beschädigte Ware zurück zu fordern und zu überprüfen. Im Reklamationsfall wird ein Ersatzprodukt geliefert. Besonnung, 

sowohl in der natürlichen Sonne als auch in Solarien, beinhaltet neben den vielen positiven und erwünschten Effekten auch Risiken. Anwendung von ultravioletter Strahlung, insbesondere 

übermäßiger oder unsachgemäßer Gebrauch, kann zu Sonnenbrand (UV-Erythem), Schädigung der Augen (Photokonjunktivsites, Photokeratites, Katarakt) und verstärkter Alterung der 

Haut führen. Wiederholte extreme UV-Exposition kann zu karzinogenen Spätschäden führen. Die Anwendung bestimmter Medikamente oder kosmetischer Produkte kann die Empfindlichkeit 

für ultraviolette Strahlung erhöhen. Bräunungsstrahler emittieren neben UV-Strahlung auch Infrarot-Strahlung. Infrarot-Strahlung kann bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch Augen 

(Thermische Netzhautgefährdung, Gefährdung für Hornhaut und Augenlinse, Katarakt) und Haut (IR-Erythem, Verbrennungen) schädigen. Beachten Sie unsere Bedienungsanleitung.
