Election Procedure
To propose a candidate for membership in
The Racquet Club of Philadelphia, please have
this form completed and signed by you, the
seconder and the candidate.. This application and
letters of proposal from you and the seconder
should be addressed to:
The Elective Committee
215 S. 16th St.
Philadelphia, PA 19102
The proposal letters should reflect how well
you know the candidate, as well as information on
their education, other club associations, military
service, standing in the community, financial
responsibility, and other facts that may be useful
to the Elective Committee.
Occasionally, the Committee will ask for
further information and/or additional supporting
letters.
The Elective Committee meets on the second
Wednesday of each month except August. The
candidate’s name will be circulated to the
membership and posted in the Clubhouse
following receipt of the application and
supporting letters. You or your candidate’s
seconder will then be asked to invite the candidate
to attend an Elective Committee meeting. After
that meeting, you and your candidate will be
notified of the Elective Committee’s decision.

The Racquet Club of Philadelphia does not

from the Membership Office.
