Last year we had ca. 3500 registrations
and a supply budget of $46 000 or about
$13 per registrant.
Lab fees are about $60 000/yr. Taking this
into account means $30 per registrant.

Due to the budget cut in September,
our supply monies were cut to about
$20 000 or $6 per registrant!

Concerns of a
old chair

*Inadequate funding for additional
and enhanced courses
*Lack of instructional grants
*Vestiges of department split

*Maintain endowment initiatives
*Selection of new chair
*No vehicle replacement policy

*Amalgamate doctoral programs
*Mentor new faculty
*Totally inadequate space

What’s ahead?

We will need
clear direction
from the
administration.

Then, we can plan the
journey ahead. . . .

. . .in the spirit of academic selfgovernance
