Guidelines & FAQ’s<br />
Weather<br />
• We believe in safety first! In case of inclement weather some<br />
rides may be unable to operate.<br />
• In the event of a partial closing you will be called in advance<br />
and given the option to reschedule.<br />
• If there is a complete closure due to weather you will be given<br />
the option of a refund or to reschedule the event.<br />
Food and Drinks<br />
• Food and drinks will be provided by the park. Food and drink<br />
options are offered with the birthday party packages.<br />
• You are welcome to bring a birthday cake and a food tray<br />
(fruit, vegetable, or sandwich). No other outside food and/or<br />
beverages are permitted.<br />
Payment<br />
• Full payment is required to secure a date. We accept cash,<br />
check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.<br />
• Credit Card payment may be done by phone.<br />
• All reservation sales are final.<br />
How do the unlimited ride bands work?<br />
The unlimited ride bands are good for any child or adult party guest<br />
over 36 inches (the height at which children can begin to enjoy some<br />
rides alone). Band must be securely attached to the wrist. These<br />
bands are good for the full day! After the party is over you are<br />
welcome to continue enjoying the rides until we close for that day.<br />
Will I need to stand by the entrance to greet my guests?<br />
You can remain at your party location without any worries. We have<br />
attendants at every entrance who are given a daily list of parties.<br />
They will direct your guests to your location.<br />
Do Storyland and Carousel Gardens connect to one another?<br />
Yes. There is an opening near the Fun Slide in Carousel Gardens that<br />
leads into Storyland. Admission to either location grants access to<br />
both Storyland and Carousel Gardens.<br />
What if I need extra tables or chairs?<br />
You are welcome to bring extra tables and/or chairs for your party<br />
location as long as they are picked up within 30 minutes following<br />
the party.<br />
What food can I bring?<br />
<strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Park</strong> includes the cost of food and drinks (water &<br />
lemonade) in the party packages. No other outside food and drinks<br />
are allowed with the exception of a <strong>Birthday</strong> Cake and a food tray<br />
(fruit, vegetable, or sandwich).<br />
Can I come early to decorate?<br />
Yes. You can come a ½ hour before your party to setup and/or<br />
decorate and stay a ½ hour after your party to clean.<br />
Can we play both courses at <strong>City</strong> Putt?<br />
Yes, you can play both courses for an extra $100 fee. (For up to 25 people.)<br />
What if we have more than 25 guests at the party who want to play golf?<br />
Anyone over the 25 person total can be added at $5 per person,<br />
regardless of their age.”(This does not include food.)<br />
