Meditech IT Clinic System (MIT) is a purpose built software
package developed by RSLSTEEPER. In constant
development by clinicians since 1991, it is one of the most
advanced yet user-friendly and clinician-focussed
management systems available to NHS Trust customers.
It is specifically designed for the clinical, financial and
management requirements of NHS Rehabilitation Units and
allied disciplines.

MIT provides complete real-time management of patient details,
including medical notes and episodes of care, as well
as a wide range of demographic options.

• ‘One patient, one record’ concept, meaning a patient’s
entire clinical and financial history, across several
rehabilitation disciplines, can be recorded in one place.
• The ability to record Frenchay, Barthel and SIGAM test
scores, allowing treatment to be focused in the most
effective areas.
• A centralised letter library, allowing users to create
correspondence using patient specific details. This speeds
up communication between patients and staff and leads
to greater accuracy and a better overall package of care.

Increased efficiency
MIT’s multi-discipline appointment system allows users to
search several diaries simultaneously. This facilitates a better
management of resources, reducing patient visits and leading
to a reduction of costs for related services such as transport.
Meditech IT is designed as a Whole Process System. This
means that the single software package can often do the
tasks which currently need three or four separate packages
to perform, thus greatly reducing expenditure on both
software licenses/support and staff training. The package is
supplied as a fully managed system, removing the need for
costly support staff and major capital outlay.

Flexibility in Integration
MIT has also been developed to handle order and invoice
processing, job costing and stock control, and is compatible
with SBS invoice processing and data export. It includes
audit facilities to give greater accountability and assist in
clinical governance and evidence based practise.
MIT can be integrated with NHS systems, and only requires
a Windows platform to run. All future software updates are
included within the license and we can bespoke your
requirements into the application, guaranteeing the ongoing
compatibility of your system and minimising both future
expenditure and disruption.
Technically Superior
The package connects to the N3 network via a dedicated
NHS gateway, enabling access from anywhere on N3.

facilities, the most secure available. RSLSTEEPER holds
