Everyone involved in urology nursing, new and experienced, looking to learn and improve their knowledge in the field of urology should
attend this conference.

For this year’s BAUN conference we return to Edinburgh, the most popular conference destination in the UK. Just as this great city
has much to offer visitors, we have a full and varied conference programme that will provide delegates with a stimulating and rewarding
visit to the 2008 BAUN Annual Conference and Exhibition.

We will have a large exhibition showing the latest developments in urological products, technology and services. This is always a focal
point of our meeting and I would urge you to make sure you benefit from the information, experience and expertise available from our
commercial colleagues.
The social programme looks like it will top any that we have put on before. It starts on Sunday the 2nd of November with tours of
Edinburgh, which will take in the historical sites, some local history and (of course!) the excellent shopping. Every evening we will have
a different event and the meeting will culminate with the Gala dinner at The Hub, a spectacular venue at the top of the Royal Mile, just
below the famous and spectacular Edinburgh Castle.

The Exhibition
The exhibition attracts key medical device and pharmaceutical companies each year. Exhibitors are keen to discuss their latest
product advances in urology nursing with you, to help you improve the quality of patient care offered within your organisation. It’s
also a great opportunity to ensure that you are up to date on all new products and devices.
Free Papers
If you would like to present a paper or poster, you need to submit an abstract first. If accepted for a presentation you will have 10
minutes to present your paper. If accepted for a poster, you will be expected to display your poster and give a short 3 minute talk

Prizes: £250 for the Best Presentation and £250 for the Best Poster

The registration desk will open on Monday 3rd November from 12.00pm – 8.00pm for delegates to register early if they wish to do
so. The final conference programme will be available at that time. On Tuesday 4th November and Wednesday 5th November, the
registration desk will open from 8.00am to close of sessions.

The BAUN Conference Organising Group reserves the right to make changes to the conference programme and speakers without prior notice.
Invoice requests Remember it is your responsibility to make sure that your finance department processes the application form in time. Applications requesting payment by invoice
will only be processed if accompanied by a copy of the Purchase Order documentation or a guarantee letter from the budget holder. If you have not heard from
us within 14 days, please contact us to make sure we have received your form. We would recommend that you keep a photocopy of all documentation in case of
loss or lack of clarity. Please note that payment for conference must be received before the start of the event. If payment is not received, you will be required to
personally guarantee the payment yourself when you arrive on the day.

Cancellation Notice of cancellation should be made in writing to BAUN c/o Fitwise Management. Cancellations received by 1st October 2008 will receive a refund minus 20%
for administration costs. Unfortunately those received after this date will receive no refund. Substitute delegates are welcome.

Conference
The BAUN Conference is not just about listening to invited
speakers. Free papers given by delegates are a vital part of any
conference, an opportunity for you as Urology professional to
communicate your ideas, projects and problems with fellow
specialists and to be part of the Conference.
