The shaft rotates at approximately 5RPM and has very high torque. We are very impressed by how much torque is produced by this motor - it is quite powerful! Unloaded current draw is 20mA at 12VDC. Overall size including mounting ears about 4.2” x 3.2” x 1.1”Thick (without shaft). Part # PP-GF30 made by TRW. Faulhaber Precision 12VDC Micromotor Precision 12VDC micromotor by Faulhaber of Germany is type 2342L012CR. Size about 1 1/8” x 1 1/8” (front face x 2 1/4”Long -excluding shaft and gear). Shaft on one end is 3/8”Long x 2mm Dia. Shaft on other end has an 18 tooth 3/8”Dia. gear. These are precision, high torque (stall torque = 80mNm). Speed (no load) 8100rpm, current .075Amp (no load), motor resistance 1.9ohms. Motor has flexible red & black leads terminating in a 2 slot connector. To reverse direction just reverse battery polarity. This motor is 80% efficient and has an output power rating of 17Watts. We even connected this motor to a tiny 3V coin battery and it operated fine! This gear also has the timing belt teeth. The outer gear that has the timing belt teeth is a compound gear which has a larger gear molded onto it. The larger gear meshes with the remaining 2 gears.
