STATION 3000<br />
The Tactical Subscriber Station (<strong>TSS</strong>) is<br />
an extremely flexible communication and<br />
control unit for use onboard any vessel type.<br />
The <strong>TSS</strong> has a compact layout with a 6.5 in.<br />
TFT LCD display and touch overlay. This<br />
enables operation with optimal viewing<br />
angles and high-end backlight controller for<br />
very dark and bright environments.<br />
The <strong>TSS</strong> has been designed with special focus<br />
on low power consumption, silent operation<br />
and easy usability. <strong>TSS</strong> provides all the<br />
necessary information about the available<br />
communication nets and their state. Built-in<br />
loudspeaker and connectors are available for<br />
headset, handset and two standard USB for<br />
devices such as external loudspeakers.<br />
The <strong>TSS</strong> is a Military Off The Shelf (MOTS)<br />
<strong>product</strong> based on Commercial Off The Shelf<br />
(COTS) technology. Therefore, the system is<br />
guaranteed to be a high quality <strong>product</strong> while<br />
still being cost effective.<br />
