Flat nuts are a one-piece, self-locking,<br />
single thread fastener that replaces<br />
threaded nuts and lock washers.<br />
Also available in Round, W-Type, Twin Type, Angle<br />
Type.<br />
Single thread, J-Nuts (pictured) and U-<br />
Nuts snap over the edge of panels or<br />
over center holes, holding the nut in<br />
place for blind applications.<br />
For shaft Diameters ranging from .125”<br />
to .500”, this fastener can be used to<br />
secure wheels to axels, as a bumper or<br />
spacer, or to cover studs or shaft ends<br />
to eliminate safety hazards.<br />
Caged nut retainers combine the advantages<br />
of spring steel parts with a multithread<br />
solution. These nuts snap into<br />
location and can float for easy alignment.<br />
This style nut snaps over the edge of<br />
panels or center holes, holding the nut<br />
in place for blind applications and afford<br />
the added strength of multiple threads.<br />
Also available as a J-Nut.<br />
When installing this fastener, the dart<br />
portion of the clip compresses and<br />
snaps back to form when placed in the<br />
hole. This style (different variations) can be<br />
used for sealing strip and liner panels.<br />
