Description of the event
Factors of economic globalization, as well as the recent global financial crisis have
made significant changes to the development of the world. Kazakhstan is one of the few
countries in the world, which not only successfully overcame the negative effects of these
events, but was also able to obtain social and economic benefits of these global changes.
Over 20 years of its independence Kazakhstan has been able to provide political stability,
integration into international economic processes, to create a legal framework in all
areas, ensure stable economic growth and of course, to attract more than U.S. $ 180 billion
into foreign direct investment. Kazakhstan is the leader among CIS countries to attract
foreign direct investment per capita.
In order to ensure further development of a competitive economy and industrial
modernization, Kazakhstan adopted the State Programme for accelerated industrialinnovative
development in 2010in which over two years in operation 389 industrial
projects, of which 130 projects reached its design capacity. All this shows the system policy
of the state to build the competitiveness of Kazakhstan's economy to world markets.
Today, Kazakhstan has created all necessary conditions for successful implementation of
projects involving foreign investment. Established in 2010, the Agency «KAZNEX INVEST»,
is a specialized state‐owned company designed to provide comprehensive assistance to
foreign investors in their projects in Kazakhstan.

Over 2 years of the Agency «KAZNEX INVEST» are turned initiative with more than
200 foreign investors held more than 30 international investment activities. Especially
active countries are Germany, France, Korea, China, Turkey, Japan, Malaysia and others.
This road show is the first event, which is entirely devoted to the presentation of
investment opportunities in Kazakhstan, as well as priority sectors in which foreign
investors are invited to implement projects. Foreign investors will have the opportunity to
get acquainted with the economic development of Kazakhstan, as well as plans for the
future, be able to directly negotiate with the competent person responsible for the
development of priority sectors, as well as get acquainted with investment opportunities in
Kazakhstan in terms of entry into the Customs Union, the market is today is 170 million.
