10- The Seven thousand Slain due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> earthquake<br />
(11:13): In <strong>the</strong> days <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> two prophets witnesses against <strong>the</strong> oppressor<br />
11- The Seven Heads (12:3): The great bloodshedding<br />
dragon has seven heads, i.e. is continuously thinking and planning <strong>to</strong><br />
destroy and exterminate <strong>the</strong> church... His continuous work is deception<br />
(12:9; 13:14; 20:8).<br />
12-The Seven Crowns on his heads (12:3): The devil appoints<br />
many kings in many countries, thus becoming like a king over<br />
kings... He never s<strong>to</strong>ps deceiving or using authority as well as violence.<br />
It is said that in <strong>the</strong> days <strong>of</strong> "<strong>the</strong> <strong>An</strong>tichrist," many countries<br />
will follow him and fight against God's people.<br />
13- The Seven Bowls and <strong>the</strong> Seven Plagues (15:1; 16:21):<br />
The matter does not s<strong>to</strong>p at warnings (<strong>the</strong> trumpets), but God pours<br />
out His firm punishment so that <strong>the</strong> wicked ones may s<strong>to</strong>p following<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>An</strong>tichrist.<br />
14- The Seven Mountains (17:9): On which sits Babylon,<br />
<strong>the</strong> harlot. Perhaps this refers <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> kingdom <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>An</strong>tichrist which<br />
includes a number <strong>of</strong> great leaders, like mountains <strong>to</strong> lean on.<br />
15- The Seven Kings (17:10): Referring <strong>to</strong> authorities who<br />
submit <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> kingdom <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> wicked one.<br />
16 The Seven Personages (12,13): These personages appear<br />
in <strong>the</strong> battle that will take place between <strong>the</strong> devil (<strong>the</strong> Dragon) and<br />
<strong>the</strong> Church at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> time, as mentioned in chapters 12 and 13.<br />
a) The woman clo<strong>the</strong>d with <strong>the</strong> sun (12:1-2): Refers <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Church who enjoys Jesus Christ, <strong>the</strong> Source <strong>of</strong> her beauty and hidden<br />
glory. As for <strong>the</strong> moon under her feet, it refers <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> members<br />
who died as martyrs, thus becoming like <strong>the</strong> moon, reflecting with<br />
<strong>the</strong> light from <strong>the</strong> Sun <strong>of</strong> Righteousness. The twelve stars on her<br />
head are <strong>the</strong> twelve disciples. She is with child, crying out in labor<br />
and in pain so that Jesus Christ may be formed in <strong>the</strong> lives <strong>of</strong> believ-<br />
