driving force in all of our decisions.

Rancho Pico Junior High
We opened our doors in 2004.
Our initial enrollment was 652 students.
West Ranch’s first freshman class was housed at RP.
We had no gymnasium.
Our population has steadily grown to 1,000 students
in grades 7 and 8.
Rancho Pico earned the California Distinguished
Schools designation in 2009 and we are currently in
the process for it again!

Each student in enrolled in 6 classes.
Students attend three classes on any given day (our
odd day and even day schedule).
The periods rotate within the odd and even day
schedule.
Students attend advisory every day at the same time
with the same teacher.
Rancho Pico’s schedule is very similar to West Ranch.
