ANNUAL WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
As a member of Repak, your company, under section 4.2 (b) of Repak Scheme Rules, is
obliged to: Prepare and implement a written plan (in a form that is satisfactory to Repak)
for the management of packaging waste arising on the Member’s premises and in each year
thereafter review and update the plan.
Please use the following document to outline current contact details, premises, general
information relating to packaging put on the market and key strategies being implemented
or proposed to deliver better waste management.
Repak shall treat any information furnished as confidential.

PACKAGING WASTE PREVENTION / MINIMISATION
Provide any information relating to the prevention and or minimisation of packaging.
Please include information on projects focused on preventing/minimising the quantities of
waste produced at you back door (Input Packaging) and packaging placed on outgoing
product (Output Packaging).
Consider some of the following issues
Reducing the amount of shrink wrap applied to a product,
Receiving / sending deliveries in bulk where possible,
Initiatives to redesign packaging to make it lighter,
Initiatives to redesign packaging to allow for more product to be carried per pallet,
per truck load etc.
