Ontero EC A new addition to the range of luminaires is the Ontero EC luminaire family, designed in cooperation with the Munich designer Jens Pattberg. The basic design concept behind the luminaires is the flowing transition from round to angular elements. The luminaire head of the Ontero EC has been specially designed to meet 98
the demands of modern LED light sources. Integrated cooling fins facilitate excellent thermal management and therefore they are efficient to run. The Ontero EC is fitted with the latest LED arrays and state-of-theart driver technology that also allows DALI control. The luminaire family comprises the actively cooled Ontero EC 125, which features a temperature-controlled fan, and the EC 126 with passive cooling. Furthermore, the Ontero EC 130 also enables the use of metal halide lamps up to 70 watt. Three types of reflector are on offer for the discharge lamp version as well as for the LED models. The luminaire is made from die cast aluminium and is available with a powder-coating in strato silver, black and white as well as in all RAL colours on request. The luminaires are equipped with a multiadapter and, for the EC 130, no tools are needed to change the lamp. 99
