5.2 Guidance for members <strong>of</strong> the public<br />
5.2.1<br />
You have the right to make a complaint if<br />
you feel that someone within policing has<br />
behaved unpr<strong>of</strong>essionally.<br />
5.2.2<br />
To make a complaint you should contact the<br />
relevant police force or policing organisation.<br />
This can be online using appropriate websites<br />
and forms, in writing or in person. You can<br />
also make your complaint to the Independent<br />
Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).<br />
5.2.3<br />
Further information on making a complaint<br />
about unpr<strong>of</strong>essional behaviour by a member<br />
<strong>of</strong> the policing pr<strong>of</strong>ession can be found on<br />
police websites and the IPCC website (which<br />
also provides links to the complaints section<br />
on each police force website).<br />
