The Chattanooga Mocs have an excellent Academic Support Service in place for all<br />
student-athletes. Through the use of advisors, tutors, study halls and many other<br />
programs, the Office of Academic Services is on hand to help each student-athlete<br />
reach his or her ultimate goal of earning a college degree.<br />
Goals of the Office of Academic Support Services<br />
• To support each student-athlete’s effort to receive a quality education.<br />
• To encourage and facilitate the goals for each student-athlete’s career path.<br />
• To ensure that the academic intergrity of <strong>UTC</strong> is maintained.<br />
• To comply with all rules and regulations of <strong>UTC</strong>, the Southern Conference and<br />
the NCAA.<br />
• To help ensure the continuing athletic eligibility during a student-athlete’s years<br />
at <strong>UTC</strong>.<br />

Nicchaeus Doaks not only finished 2009 as the Mocs’ all-time rebounding leader for the DI era, but he also<br />
completed his degreein psychology. Doaks is now competing professionally in France.<br />
