THE BACHELOR OF LIBERAL STUDIES DEGREE<br />
We highly recommend<br />
that students complete<br />
one of the four majors<br />
when entering Whitworth<br />
via the AAS “upsidedown”<br />
degree option,<br />
though they can also<br />
structure their own area<br />
of study and graduate<br />
with no major.<br />
Advise students<br />
planning to transfer<br />
into a BLS degree to<br />
complete SOC 101,<br />
PSYCH 101, and an<br />
English composition<br />
course beyond ENG<br />
101, at the community<br />
college.<br />
All majors are<br />
interdisciplinary and<br />
include both foundational<br />
knowledge and practical<br />
