WE ARE WHITWORTH
to get that promotion at work, or simply to keep up with
today’s competitive job market, we can help. The sooner you
have your degree, the sooner you’ll have the satisfaction of
achieving a lifelong goal.
Classes Designed
for Adult Learners
Our instructors are experts
in their field, trained
to provide an engaging
classroom environment
specifically designed for adult
students.
Commitment to
Excellence
Whitworth’s reputation for
academic excellence means
instant recognition that your
education is of the highest
quality.
Value
Earn a Whitworth-quality
education for a cost
comparable to that of state
institutions.
Convenience
Accelerated evening
and hybrid-format classes
offer adult students a
fast-track to completing
their educations.

HOW DO WE COMPARE?
Going back to school can be expensive — but the cost of not
completing your education can be considerably higher.
• Earn promotions at work, attain a new job, or secure your current job.
• Bachelor’s degrees are often a minimum qualification in today’s competitive job market.
• Earn a degree you will be proud of.
Whitworth’s discounted tuition rate for its evening program
is evidence of its commitment to you, the adult learner.
• You’ll pay about the same tuition as attending a state school; sometimes less.
• Books are provided free of charge, and are delivered to you the first night of class.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU…
…to earn a four-year bachelor’s degree, attending
part time in the evening?
Probably not as long as you think.
4-5
years
with no previous
college credits
2-3
years
with two years of
prior college credits
Even
less
with more than two
years of prior credits
*Note: Intervals vary due to student schedules, number of credits transferred, and
number of credits remaining for degree completion.

WHAT DOES THE ACCELERATED
FORMAT LOOK LIKE? As an adult
student with other
responsibilities, you
can’t afford to spend
years and years going
to class every night of the
week.
We understand that.
• Complete any of our evening degrees in the accelerated format, from start to finish. Most classes are six weeks long.
• Classes meet either one night per week and a couple of Saturdays each month or two nights per week and no Saturdays.
• Many classes are offered in a hybrid format, meeting just three times in a classroom and the rest online.
• Concentrate on one course at a time, so you can retain more of what you learn.

SERVING OUR VETERANS
Whitworth University deeply values the service and sacrifice
of veterans and their families.
Our adult education programs keep a Whitworth education
within reach, at a time that’s convenient for you.
The Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, which offers federal benefits, is
designed to provide substantial educational benefits to
servicemen and women. It covers a large part of the cost
of a Whitworth degree.
