Celebration Time! …
HK’s Largest Residential Fibre Network Now Available in Discovery Bay
(Hong Kong, 6 Sept 2011) Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited (“HKBN”, a wholly-owned
subsidiary of City Telecom (HK) Limited, HKEX: 1137, NASDAQ: CTEL) is celebrating the
arrival of our Fibre service in Discovery Bay. With over 1.93 million home pass by our Fibre to
the Home or Building (FTTH/B), HKBN operates the largest residential Fibre network in Hong
Kong Note 1 .
Discovery Bay is a mixed use resort living environment situated on the north-eastern coast of
Lantau Island, about 2 km west of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. It has a population of
around 16,000 residents, with a sizeable community of expatriates from around the World.
