Luggage Tags: All Kampers should attach the
enclosed luggage tags to their footlocker and duffle
bag. Help your luggage arrive correctly and quickly.
Trunks/Footlockers: The packing list on the left,
is all you need to pack, and it all fits, nice and neat!! To
accommodate your footlocker on the buses and under
cabin bunks it must not exceed 15 1/2” in height. The
airlines will not accept any baggage more than 62”
(total dimensions: L + W + H).

styles and colors. They come with a free non-cosmetic
lifetime warranty. They also offer a lightweight airline
trunk great for those flying to Kamp.
Special Note: TrunkOutlet’s trunks are available with
optional removable wheels. We do not recommend wheel
use at Kamp due to areas of gravel terrain. Trunk wheels
cannot be loaded onto charter buses. In addition to the
required trunk, you can pack a small duffle not to exceed
46” total dimensions (L+W+H) – also available from
TrunkOutlet.

PACKING LIST
Swimsuits should be modest one-piece suits with
no low cut fronts or high cut legs. Shorts and shirts
should cover modestly.
MEDIA
Leave your secular music, books, magazines and comic
books at home. All music at Kamp is positive and
uplifting. Suggestive pictures, obscene or vulgar
language are not allowed at Kanakuk Golf Kamp.
PRAY DAILY
...For your Kamp Directors and the 2,000+ counselors,
staff, and medical workers serving at Kamp this summer.
Pray for the other Kampers in your cabin and for each to
experience God’s love at Kamp this summer.

Mark all your clothing, personal belongings and
luggage with your name and Kamp name (Golf Kamp).

VALUABLES
Leave valuables at home. You will not be able to use these at
Kamp. Kanakuk will not be responsible for lost jewelry, mp3
players, Game Boys, cell phones, or other valuable items.

PACKING MEDICATIONS +
Pack your Kamper’s medications in a ziplock bag. Then fill out the
medication card located in the envelope this magazine arrived in.
Place the card inside the ziplock bag. Prescription medications
must be in a pharmacy labeled container and over the counter
medications must be in original manufactured container. Please
only send amount needed for Kamp term. All medications will
be lovingly and professionally dispensed by our staff RN’s. To
secure enrollment, complete the online Health Info and also the
KanakukCares Questions in “myKanakuk” no later than May 1st.

To ride the bus you must have a reservation! If your bus fee has
been charged on your account you are confirmed. If you’ve
been confirmed, no further action is needed. Skip to Step 3.
Make reservation
To request bus transportation go to: www.mykanakuk.com.
Sign-in and then choose “View Itineraries”, choose your child,
then select “Transportation” icon. Here you will be able to
select “Transportation (Add/Modify/Cancel)”. Make your
choices and submit.

LOADING YOUR LUGGAGE
Meet 15 minutes before load time with correct luggage. At the
back of this magazine you will find two luggage tags. Regardless
of how you are arriving to Kamp (plane, bus or car) we ask that
you attach these tags to your footlocker and duffle. This will help
ensure your luggage gets to you correctly and quickly. Note: Read
more about our luggage restrictions on page 4. One small carry on
bag is allowed. Please no food or drinks on the bus. Bottled water
is allowed.
ENJOY KAMP!
As always, leave cell phones, ipods and all other electronic devices
at home. They are not allowed on the buses or at Kamp. This rule
will be enforced. Please help us. Buses will have TV/VCR’s and we
will provide Kamp appropriate movies.
CLOSING CEREMONIES
Pick up your child at Closing Ceremonies, a special and very
important Kamp event! Kanakuk Kamps is unable to provide
return bus transportation due to the lack of requests and high
cost. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you make a reservation and wish to cancel you must do so 11 days prior to the date
