Versilic ®<br />
62 Shore A Versilic ® tubing is biologically neutral <strong>and</strong> does<br />
not inhibit cell culture. It stays flexible down to -50ºC <strong>and</strong><br />
maintains its chemical, mechanical <strong>and</strong> electrical<br />
performance up to +200ºC, peak at 230ºC.<br />
It meets European Pharmacopoeia test requirements, USP<br />
Class VI biological tests, <strong>and</strong> ISO 10993 biocompatibility<br />
(systemic toxicity, irritation, cytotoxicity, hemolysis,<br />
sensitisation, Ames test). It meets FDA, European <strong>and</strong><br />
French regulations regarding food contact. Versilic ® may<br />
be used as a CE marked (Class 2A max.) non invasive<br />
medical device tubing for up to 29 days contact.<br />

PVDF tubes are an economic alternative to the other<br />
fluoroplastics because of their low specific weight. PVDF<br />
tubing is safe <strong>and</strong> non-toxic. PVDF tubes are resistant to<br />
most inorganic chemicals such acids <strong>and</strong> salts - even at<br />
elevated temperatures or when highly concentrated. PVDF<br />
tubing has an excellent resistance to aliphatic <strong>and</strong><br />
aromatic hydrocarbons, organic acids, alcohols <strong>and</strong><br />
aromatic compounds. The permeation values of PVDF are<br />
