The Ohio Section Summer Short Course on “Baseball, Statistics, and the Role <strong>of</strong><br />
Chance in the Game” is scheduled for June 7-9, 2006, at Mount Union College in<br />
Alliance, Ohio. James Albert, pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling<br />
Green State University, author <strong>of</strong> Teaching Statistics Using Baseball, and coauthor <strong>of</strong><br />
Curveball: Baseball, Statistics, and the Role <strong>of</strong> Chance in the Game will lead the<br />
participants.<br />
