Triple Bottom Line
Universities committed to sustainability create
a decision-making process that enables them
to monitor their activities continuously against
sustainable goals and objectives. Many universities
rely on the concept of a triple bottom line of economic,
environmental, and social sustainability to evaluate
a campus’s conformity with sustainability goals.
Sustainable campuses strive to make decisions that
foster a triple bottom line.
