Established in 1991, The Penn State
President’s Club honors the tremendous
loyalty and generosity that our supporters
have expressed through annual gifts
to the University. President’s Club members
are a distinguished part of the Penn
State community whose annual leadership
gifts demonstrate their ongoing
commitment to academic excellence.
Members of the President’s Club help
Penn State fulfill our mission of education,
research, and service and create
vibrant new opportunities for students
and citizens. Initiatives across the
University—from student financial aid
and equipment acquisition, to instructional
and research support—are greatly
enhanced by the generosity of President’s
Club members.

Gift Designation
You can become a member of Penn State’s
President’s Club with a gift of, or cumulative
gifts totaling, $2,500 or more per year to
any Penn State college, campus, or program.
While all types of gifts are greatly appreciated,
only current-use gifts count towards
President’s Club membership. Examples
include: cash, securities, gifts from a
foundation, or gifts from an individual’s
wholly-owned company.

Annual Levels of Recognition
In recognition of Penn State’s proud
heritage and traditions, and the outstanding
generosity of our alumni and friends,
donors are recognized annually in three
giving tiers named for prominent former
Presidents of the University. In 2011, a new
tier was added in honor of all University
Presidents.
For all levels of recognition, matching
corporate gifts are combined with individual
or household gifts when determining
eligibility.
President’s Circle $10,000
Edwin E. Sparks Circle $5,000
Ralph D. Hetzel Circle $2,500
Milton S. Eisenhower Circle $1,500*
* Alumni and friends who are 35 years of
age and younger will be offered membership
at the $1,500 level. Membership is based on
the age of the younger spouse/partner.
