Marian Engineering College established in
2001 has become a pioneer institute for
Engineering studies in Kerala. The college
affiliated to the University of Kerala has
emerged a leader in the Self Financing
sector. The institute stretches over 40 acre
verdant campus in the neighbourhood of
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre,
Tecnopark, Kinfra Apparels and other
renowned Institutions. The college is well

COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGG
AND
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Department takes pride in being
abreast with the latest requirements of the
industry and the changing technological
environment. The department offers both
B. Tech and M. Tech courses. Course
contents include hardware and software
studies with emphasis on the software
aspects. The college is affiliated to the
University of Kerala and the curriculum
is well designed and intended to provide a
thorough understanding of the
fundamentals. The faculties are well
trained with years of experience in guiding
the students in their studies. Consequently
the students are well versed in the field,
w2ith the exhaustive and appropriate
curriculum guided by the experienced
faculty. To complement the syllabus
seminars like the one offered now play an
important role.

using it.
