SAMOON by GERRY WEBER presents itself in winter: feminine, sportive
and self-confident
Autumn and winter 2010 are all about femininity: flowing fabrics, comfortable
and decorative, embody the ideal mixture of casualness and femininity. Sexy
glam-rock interpretations meet casually feminine looks in a wide variety of
materials, textures and shapes. This autumn’s and winter’s colours are much
calmer and dominated by neutral shades from taupe to grey as well as powder,
chocolate and pearl. The accent colours are also no longer as bright and add a
calm touch to the themes. Another focus is on glam-rock elements: black
anthracite and berry shade are stylish and assertive and stand for self-confident
fashion.
A wide variety of patterns and details reflect the interplay between decorative
elements and sportiveness: tiger prints, all-over stripes, floral prints as well as
animal and lion prints create an atmosphere of individuality. Rock-style details
such as rivets, stones and sequins add special, modern touches. The mix of
different materials such as jersey and leather creates interesting looks. New
jersey ideas for dresses, jackets and trousers, party as jacquards, play an
important role.
A jersey dress with a leather jacket and leggings is one of the key looks this
autumn; just as well are loose, body-enveloping silhouettes in the knitwear
range, combined with new blouse models with slimmer and shorter trousers.
Leggings, also in leather looks, jeggings – a combination of trousers and leggings
– and slim drainpipe trousers are the ideal combination items. They are worn
with new tunic and blouse shapes or fashionable, wide sweaters with overcut
shoulders and ideally highlight the feminine shapes. Knitwear remains an
important theme. The new knitwear looks feature different soft materials and
sophisticated details for truly feminine lines.

In the outdoor wear segment, SAMOON by GERRY WEBER presents a material
mix with many modern highlights, which are integrated into the individual
collection themes. Soft nappa leather looks and animal prints, woven fur and
new stitching present exciting details; parkas look casual and create a relaxed
weekend feeling, while sportive-elegant coats represent the city look. High-
quality materials such as soft tweed, cashmere/pure new wool blends or wool
have a flattering effect thanks to their quality and form. Refined details in
interesting places make the new models from SAMOON by GERRY WEBER to eye-
catchers in the chilly time of the year.
