Extra Effort Lifting with High ST<br />
The following table shows the maximum weight a character can lift normally<br />
(i.e, ST x 25), and the weight he can lift on a roll of 16 or less by using Extra<br />
Effort (see p. B89), expending 1 Fatigue for every 100% weight increase over<br />
his normal maximum. A failed roll means that the item did not move and he has<br />
strained himself; he loses twice the expected Fatigue (and 1 HT on a critical failure).<br />
The formulae used to generate these numbers are:<br />
Maximum Lift = ST x 25<br />
Extra Effort Lift = Maximum Lift + [(ST-16) x (Maximum Lift/10)].<br />
