3.1 Storage SCP AE Specifications (IDS5)<br />
3.1.1 Association Establishment Policies<br />
3.1.1.1 General<br />
The maximum PDU-length, which a Storage SCP AE will handle, is configurable.<br />
The default is 28672 bytes (28 Kbytes). Configuration can only be done by <strong>Sectra</strong><br />
authorized personnel. Allowed values are between 4096 bytes (4kB) and 131072<br />
bytes (128 Kbytes) including these values.<br />
3.1.1.2 Number of Associations<br />
Each Storage SCP AE can handle five simultaneous associations at a time by default.<br />
This number is configurable. Configuration can only be done by <strong>Sectra</strong> authorized<br />
personnel.<br />
3.1.1.3 Asynchronous Nature<br />
A Storage SCP AE will only allow a single outstanding operation on an association.<br />
Therefore, a Storage SCP AE will not perform asynchronous operations window<br />
negotiation.<br />
3.1.1.4 Implementation Identifying Information<br />
A Storage SCP AE will provide the following implementation identifying information<br />
Implementation Class UID<br />
Implementation version name.<br />

This is the default value.<br />
