Provide technical support <strong>and</strong> analysis <strong>of</strong> collected food, pesticide<br />

formulation, pesticide residue, seed, fertilizer, lime <strong>and</strong> feed<br />

samples; test for chemical or microbial adulteration, label<br />

compliance, contamination, quality, germination <strong>and</strong> purity <strong>of</strong><br />

collected samples.<br />

Inspect uniformity in weight <strong>and</strong> measure st<strong>and</strong>ards for all weight<br />

scales in Georgia; inspect motor fuel quality <strong>and</strong> quantity; enforce<br />

grain, cotton <strong>and</strong> tobacco laws.<br />

Coordinate the administration <strong>of</strong> state laws, rules <strong>and</strong> regulations<br />

for all businesses engaged in food for <strong>of</strong>f-premises consumption or<br />

currently required to obtain a license from the Commissioner<br />

under any other provision <strong>of</strong> law; develop strategic planning,<br />

resource allocation, <strong>and</strong> program regulations in accordance with<br />

state <strong>and</strong> federal law; coordinate resources in the event <strong>of</strong> a<br />
