Conclusion
Technology educators should work to empower students to
be technologically literate regarding home safety. Through
such efforts, school-age child injuries and deaths could be
decreased. Technology educators should facilitate lessons
and activities that engage students and get them thinking of
ways to make their home environment safer. With help from
the teacher and through collaboration with their peers and
parents, students can identify potential safety hazards in the
home and work to eliminate them.
