Directions to the Bundeswehr Medical Academy in Munich
mit dem Pkw / by car
Die BAB 99 an der Abfahrt München-Neuherberg verlassen und in Richtung München auf die B 13 /
Ingolstädter Straße abbiegen. Nach der Stadteinfahrt an der ersten Kreuzung rechts in die Neuherbergstraße
einbiegen. Nach ca. 400 Metern links in die Kaserneneinfahrt abbiegen.
Highway A8 Stuttgart-Munich: At “Eschenried“ intersection change on to highway A99 to Salzburg. Take the
exit “Neuherberg“, then follow the signs to Munich. After passing the city boundaries, turn right into
Neuherbergstrasse at the first traffic light; after roughly 400m you will find the main gate on the left hand side
Highway A9 Nuremberg-Munich: At “Neufahrn“ intersection change on to highway A92 to Stuttgart, then at
“Feldmoching“ junction on to highway A99 to Salzburg. Take the exit “Neuherberg“, then drive in the direction
of Munich. After passing the city boundaries, turn right into Neuherbergstrasse at the first traffic light; after
roughly 400m you will find the main gate on the left hand side.
Highway A8 Salzburg-Munich: At the intersection „München Brunnthal“ change on to highway A99 to
Nuremberg/Stuttgart; stay on the A99. Take the exit “Neuherberg“, then drive in the direction of Munich. After
passing the city boundaries, turn right into Neuherbergstrasse at the first traffic light; after roughly 400m you
will find the main gate on the left hand side.
When arriving by car, please note that there are parking restrictions on the barracks’premises. Please do not
park on reserved parking spaces.
mit Bus und Bahn / by bus & train
Ab München-Hauptbahnhof mit der U-Bahnlinie 2 in Richtunf Feldmoching bis zur Haltestelle Harthof. Von dort
aus mit dem Stadtbus 141 oder Stadtbus 170 (verkehrt nicht sonntags) bis zur Haltstelle Rose-Pichler-Weg. Die
Haltestelle liegt direkt an der Kaserne. Die gesamte Fahrzeit beträgt rund 25 Minuten.
From the main station, take underground train U2 to Feldmoching and get off at the stop “Harthof”. There,
take the bus no. 141 or 170 (or 171) to “Münchner Freiheit“ or “Kieferngarten/Heidemannstraße”. Get off at
“Rose-Pichler-Weg“ and you will find yourself right next to the main gate.
mit dem Flugzeug / by airplane
Ab dem Franz-Josef-Strauß-Flughafen München mit der S-Bahnlinie 1 bis zur Haltestelle München-Feldmoching.
Von dort aus weiter mit dem Stadtbus 170 (verkehrt nicht Sonntags) bis zur Haltstelle Rose-Pichler-Weg. Die
Haltestelle liegt direkt am Haupteingang der Kaserne. Die gesamte Fahrzeit beträgt rund 47 Minuten.

The nearest airport is Franz-Joseph-Strauss Airport in Munich (MUC). From there you can use the Lufthansa
Airport Shuttle Bus (operating from 05:00 to 21:30 hrs every 20 min; approx. 10 EUR for a single ticket) or the
suburban train (“S-Bahn” – S8, approx. 10 EUR for a single ticket) to the Munich`s central station. For the rest of
the trip, see “By train”.
Or, take suburban train S1 to Munich and get of at the stop "Feldmoching". There, take bus no. 170(171) to
Kieferngarten/Heidemannstrasse and get off at "Rose-Pichler-Weg", which is right next to the main gate. You
will also find car rental agencies or taxis at the airport (one-way taxi fare approx. 45 EUR).
