DATALOGGER<br />

EXE DataLogger C1 is a supervision and control unit for the EXE Lodestar family of<br />

chain hoists, integrating their safety functions in complete accordance with BGV-C1<br />

regulations. It is especially suited to applications requiring the use of several chain<br />

hoists to move a single load.<br />

Description<br />

With its simple, yet robust and functional design, DataLogger simplifies the<br />

management and use of chain hoists with diagnostic functions which allow<br />

monitoring (and often modification) of all the hoist’s working parameters, even<br />

when the hoist is installed in hard-to-reach places.<br />

During normal operation of the chain hoist, EXE DLC1 visualizes and stores<br />

to memory the dynamic data from the hoist, allowing the operator to keep a<br />

precise and constant check of the hoist’s working condition.<br />

The EXE DLC1 can be connected to a single chain hoist or to the line linking<br />

several hoists together.<br />

When the EXE DLC1 is connected to a group of (up to 12) chain hoists operating<br />

on a single load, new control and monitoring functions become available. All<br />

these functions follow BGV-C1 safety criteria. The most significant of these<br />

functions are load weighing and synchronous movement.<br />

Load weighing: by using load cells, each hoist can measure the load applied<br />

both in dynamic conditions (i.e. during load lifting) and when the load is static.<br />

By presetting the EXE DLC1 with the hoists one wishes to consider, one can<br />

view the weight applied to each individual hoist during operation, as well as<br />

checking the total load, whether dynamic or static, across all hoists.<br />

Synchornous movement: when using EXE Lodestar Action chain hoists, the<br />

DataLogger receives information about the position of each individual hoist<br />

during movements. It also checks the data received in order to keep all hoists<br />

perfectly aligned during combined movements.<br />

In order to guarantee maximum safety during operations while also ensuring<br />

that emergency interventions and maintenance can be carried out, access to<br />

EXE DLC1 functions is password-protected for various use levels. This also<br />

helps avoid accidental or incorrect modification of critical parameters during<br />

normal operation.<br />

The large screen, backlit (and checmical-resistant) keypad and the long internal<br />

battery life make the EXE DLC1 a professional tool ideally adapted to all<br />

conditions of use.<br />
